In Australia it is customary for the Summer holidays, with Christmas at the start of these, to be spent at the beach, swimming, walking and relaxing. "Oh, no it's Christmas again! Where did the time go?" were some early thoughts and contemplations and eventually evolved into recalling the saying 'time and tide wait for no man' which eventuated from 'tide and time tarrieth no man' perhaps from as early as 1225.

DeleteI had an album by an artist, Basia, by that name - Time and Tide. Played it a million times :) It's a wonderful, relaxing piece, Sue. Love the pastel colors and all of the number stamps!
